About the Author

My name is Wes Scarberry and I write under the name Wes Barry. I began as a copywriter at an advertising agency and over time, branched out to writing screenplays. Chuck Norris and I signed a contract for what was to be his next feature: Tyler's Revenge. It was to follow Lone Wolf McQuade, which Norris was just completing.

 

At the same time I was working with Ivan Reitman for a Bill Murray movie just after Ghost Busters hit the screen. It was to be called Diamond Fever.

 

But, as so often happens in Hollywood, neither project made it to the screen. Then I took a break from it all to become a husband and father to two wonderful sons. When I got back to serious writing I switched to novels where I discovered my real passion lies.

 

I self published my first novel. It was a trade paperback, titled Logan's Leap, and it won the Red City Review contest for Best Romantic Novel, 2017.
